I’m Dot Levine, creator of Dottie's Serenade Service.  Like almost all performing artists I was stranded without gigs when COVID-19 struck, so I started this business as way to replace lost income fast.  I never expected my side hustle to become a hit: within weeks I had more Serenades than I could handle. I have since had to pull in two more musicians in Philly to help (and, more important, to spread the wealth!)

Remember the old singing telegram? It’s a new twist: People book serenades for their loved ones, but with custom-selected song requests meaningful to their relationship, circumstance, friendship, etc. I prepare professional renditions of their requests and consistently delight grateful, impromptu audiences.

I want every musician to share in the satisfaction of an appreciative live audience. I want every musician to be compensated fairly! My goal is simple--bring more musicians to eager audiences, spreading joy and connection, to people who desperately need it right now.

Dottie’s Serenade Service is looking for professional Serenaders in your area! We’ll take care of the booking and communication—all you do is show up at the right time and enchant the audience. We charge the customers based on YOUR NEEDS: time, distance, and the nature of the requested performance, averaging $150 per song net to you. The booking process is fully transparent, keeping you in the loop without unnecessary surprises.
